DUFARGE, let's shoot some boards!

Dufarge, a Dutch-based project set up by three guys, who do what they like and do it for all of the skate-likeminded-ones. In love with surfin', graphic design, screenprinting and of course easy fitted clothes and skateboarding. The wooden DUFARGE-board (the Bink Cruiser) is handmade from three different kinds of wood and has a hand printed 2 color screen print on the bottom. There's more to be seen @ www.dufarge.com

Pink *Mimosa in Nepal, 2009

*Mimosa is a tree with beautiful pink flowers. In the Netherlands we only know them as little plants; "Kruidje-roer-me-niet". Its leaves close when you touch them. The big one in Nepal is its bigger brother and only closes its leaves at night, therefor also called the sleeping tree. When I look at the picture I cannot remember this flower had any scent at all though one of Diptyque's famous scented candles is called Mimosa. I have also read once that the flowers only last for one day which really is a shame but makes it even more special, don't you think?

petit déjeuner à Merci / Paris

C'est était hmmmmmm. Always nice to drop by in Paris as it is, but to have breakfast and do some shopping at Merci's completes the trip for me. Lola bikes + coffee: superb shop in Den Haag. Cool bikes, great interior design & coffee! They repair old bikes as well as they would love to sell you a new one. Scott, behind the counter, makes the most beautiful cups of coffee. (as I am a tea drinker but certainly love the visual part) They also sell books and of course your drink doesn't have to feel alone with a piece of chocolate brownie by his side. Do visit!
